I think that the revelation of audio books is an invention that 'covers the world'.  To me it reaches the far out places that no books, library or otherwise, can reach.  For a small sum of cash it can provide a literature of  serious, funny, kind, sad and a wealth of knowledge to many people that cannot read books either in reality or because of place and expense.
 
Since my first book, 'Spirit of Eternity', I dared to try and cross the border of what happens in the South Pacific, bearing in mind this place - Papua New Guinea - is far removed than my own childhood and upbringing.  I had some friends there in Port Moresby, the capital, and their letters (by mail, not e-mail), made my over active imagination see something other than what I had read.  It brought me into a new world of sex, adventure and the kind of people and their characters that you would never ever come across, at least not me, ever in a lifetime.  I did however, once work for many years in the Civil Service in London, and this of course brought me into contact with a great many people from all over the world.  This was a starting point in which I could learn, observe and take note.
 
I have learnt a lot in my books, sometimes that shock me, but I realise this is the 21st century and, yes, these things can and do happen, so why not first put it on paper and then on audio for everyone who likes something different in their authors, to come and be a reality tha they too can read, listen and enjoy and know that there is always something to entertain you by these methods.  I believe in taking advantage of when you have the opportubnity and make the most of it.
 
Please enjoy my books.  I am sure in the 4 I have written, you will find something for everyone and it will give me great pleasure that all over the world someone somewhere is reading/listening to my novels.

BLOODBATH

Bradley (Braydie) Neilson, a thirty-five-year-old gay man, works for a charity in the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, on the river Avon. He belongs to a group of seven known as the ‘CC circle’ headed by seventy-five-year-old Clarence Collier, a Bathonian, who is a rather eccentric but loveable old man who entertains in a rather lavish house full of antiques.

CC’s main vice is that he tends to cruise the parks at night and picks up many waifs and strays, who invariably end up back at his house for the night.

Unfortunately on the fifth of November he is found dead - murdered - in the garden of his home, dressed as Guy Fawkes.

Five more deaths follow all in bizarre and gruesome details and “Braydie” and his new boyfriend, Joe, a British actor and USA TV advert star, try with the help of Inspector Jameson to find the killer before he finds him.

Set in the present day, 'Bloodbath', although down to earth with explicit detail, is a tale that is funny at times and serious with the present unsettling climate of today.  It’s a “scream a minute” in more ways than one!

This is not a conventional murder mystery or a whodunnit, but a series of events that arise from the vendetta of a family member in one country against a group of innocent people in another.

The author has crafted a tale of love, murder and intrigue in a city that is steeped in history, beauty and dark shadows!

CRY DESTINY

At the start of the 21st century a very good-looking 30 year gay Brit, returns from over 10 years in the USA where he became an award winning fashion designer with the top Nova Nukes, Inc., fashion house.

Scott Farrell, left behind his lover, Myles Crawford, a famous porn star, to spend Christmas with his lesbian friends in dear old Plymouth, a place that would never, ever, be the same again!

On the rebound he meets a slightly younger guy which results in a relationship that a certain evil, racist guy does not approve and tells him in more ways than one to ‘get out of town’ or else, after a new found friend, an Indian lady and her cat dies mysteriously!

Scott goes to his flat in London, primarily to see his ailing mother in a nursing home, and it is there that he acquires a modelling contract from his boss in the USA only to find soon afterwards a shattering tabloid accusation that he wrote a novel that was banned and was also a porn star.

His contract is revoked, his friends desert him and his mother dies and nothing could get any worse than when his former American lover turn up in England with his ‘married’ older guy.

To state that he reinvents his life is beyond belief because the events change in a way that can only happen in a fruitful, gay, camp true world, where the weak overturns the strong. In 'Cry Destiny' the author mixes humour, sadness and boldness that triumphs against all the odds, with inevitable consequences.
